Minimum Maintaining Program
5 Visits
top

This program offers the least care that a lawn needs in order to be maintained. The program is mostly suitable for the first season of a new lawn.

The program will include:

1. Spring Fertilization (applied in April).
Customer Blend Fertilizer will wake up & rejuvenate the turf after the winter dormant stage.

2. Late Spring Fertilization +Weed Spot Spray with Fiesta (applied in May). Slow Release Customer Blend Fertilizer will maintain the turf healthy & strong, able to endure summer heat stress. Also a weed spot spray with Fiesta will be applied on broad leaf weeds.

3. Summer Fertilization (applied in June – July). Slow Release Customer Blend Fertilizer will sustain a healthy green turf growth during the summer heat stress. A weed spot spray with Fiesta may also be applied depending on weed infestation and weather condition (Fiesta will not be applied when temperatures are above 24 C as it can burn the turf) .

4. Late Summer Fertilization (applied in July – August).
Slow Release Customer Blend Fertilizer will sustain a healthy green turf growth during the summer heat stress.

5. Fall Fertilizer + Weed Spot Spray with Fiesta (applied in August – September). Customer Blend Fertilizer will help the turf to recover from summer heat stress and maintain a healthy green turf growth through the fall.

Standard Maintaining Program 6 Visits (5 Visit Program + 1 Lawn Winterizing) top

This is our most popular program and is intended to maintain a healthy green lash of turf through the growing season.

In the standard maintaining program we include all 5 visits as offered in the Minimum Program plus1 extra visit (Lawn Winterizing).

Lawn Winterizing (applied in late October). We apply a special fertilizer which will help the lawn to handle the winter cold stress much better. By winterizing the lawn we assure a healthy root mass growth until the ground freezes. A lawn that receives a Winterizing application will have a much better appearance in the spring. The thickness of the lawn will inhibit weeds seeds to germinate and develop on the lawn.

Improved Maintaining Package (6 Visits + 1 Visit Core Aeration & Over Seeding) top

To improve the turfs' health and thickness, we recommend Core Aeration and Over Seeding once a year. Core Aeration breaks the build-up thatch and will loosen the soil around the root system. This way, the root will have an easier access to air, water, and nutrients.Over Seeding is applied after the Core Aeration and is done to ensure that in every plug made by the Core Aeration we spread few grass seeds.

Core Aeration & Over Seeding can be done in spring or fall. Based on our experience, the fall application will yield the best results. The new grass develops a much better root mass in the cooler season than in summer heat stress.

Complete Maintaining Package (6 Visits +1 visit Core Aeration & Over Seeding +1 Visit Top Dressing) top

By repeating for few years the complete maintaining program we guarantee that even a very poor thin lawn will be transformed in to a healthy green lash turf. The Top Dressing (organic fertilizer supplement) is applied right after the Core Aeration & Over Seeding is completed. Top Dressing is intended to provide an easy organic meal to the grass seeds during the germination process. Top Dressing is highly recommended every year on lawns that grow on clay soil. The Top Dressing Soil will blend with the clay soil texture and over time, will transform it to a more porous texture (soil that absorbs and holds much better water and nutrients) .

Organic Program top

This program replaces the mineral fertilizer with an organic fertilizer (corn gluten). Corn gluten is a 100% organic fertilizer and it can be used to replace all other mineral fertilizers. When used in higher volume, it can inhibit seed germination; therefore it can be used as organic weed controller.

After each visit, the technician will write a report about the condition of your lawn and make recommendations only if it is necessary.
